為號召更多青年學子及社會青年投入守護海洋的行列關心海洋議題，並運用海洋科學協助突破海洋危機與困境，同時促進國際交流與互動，海洋委員會特與美國在台協會高雄分處（AIT/K）合作辦理「2022台灣海洋國際青年論壇」，以深耕海洋國際教育，促進海洋科學與研究。
本活動由報名團隊以海洋科學方式，提出解決危機之行動方案，行動方案可整合海洋科學創新思維、田野調查、生態保育、創意行銷、文化保存與維護等方式，帶動在地居民公民意識，共同行動。

Aligned with the core of the Ocean Decade and co-hosted by the Ocean Affairs Council and the American Institute in Taiwan Kaohsiung Branch, the Ocean Challenge 2022 provides a forum for young people to address pressing ocean issues through scientific approaches.
The Ocean Challenge 2022 invites applicants to propose creative solutions to ocean issues that use marine science as the key element .This program is designed to promote young adults’ awareness of ocean crisis, mobilize them to take actions, and ensure the leaders of tomorrow are well informed about the intricacies of our oceans.
Grand Prizes is waiting for you! And Best Proposal Award team will receive a grant with no more than NT$100,000 to carry out their proposal based on a reimbursement basis !
