臺北市青少年民俗運動訪問團近日拜訪馬來西亞並舉辦演出，7月22日在檳城留台同學會及韓江中學協助下於檳城順利演出，將優良民俗技藝展現在國際舞台上，獲得師生及觀眾喝采。
台北市民俗訪問團已近40年，足跡遍及世界五大洲，旨在以精湛的技藝及傑出團隊的聲譽，展現於國際舞台，傳播台灣民俗運動之美，也讓世界看見台灣。
訪問團的28位學生成員經由公開徵選，分別来自臺北市西園國小的踢毽隊、弘道國中跳繩隊、吳興國小校友組成的扯鈴隊，歷經艱苦的訓練和排演，為的就是將最完美的表演呈現在海外的觀眾面前，化身國際親善大使，傳播臺灣民俗運動之美！
表演內容經由臺北市立大學編舞團隊的創意指導，將臺灣獨特的踢毽、花式跳縄和扯鈴運動，結合音樂、舞蹈、體操和劇場表演元素，以《毽舞風華》、《繩飛齊揚》、《翔鈴躍天際》三個節目展現民俗運動最獨特的魅力！此外，融合武術、現代舞和民俗元素的創意舞蹈《原鄉情懷》、《鐵扇神威》、《臺灣囡仔》、《靚心舞動神采飛揚》，更構成最賞心悅目的運動藝術！
The Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group delegation recently visited Malaysia and performed in Penang with the assistance of the Penang Taiwan Alumni Association and Han Chiang High School on July 22nd. The performance showcased excellent folklore skills and was well-received by teachers, students, and audiences.
The Taipei Youth Folk Sports Group, which has been active for almost 40 years and has travelled to five continents worldwide, aims to display its superb skills on the international stage, promote the beauty of Taiwanese folklore movements, and represent Taiwan on the global platform.
The performance content was creatively directed by the Choreography Team of the University of Taipei, combining Taiwan’s unique shuttlecock kicking, fancy trapeze, and bell-pulling movements with elements of music, dance, gymnastics, and theatre. The performance featured "Elegant Shuttlecock Dance", "Rope Flying High", and "Diabolos Dancing in the Sky" to showcase the unique charm of folk sports. Additionally, creative dances such as "Homeland Harmony", "Mighty Iron Fans", "Taiwanese Youth", and "Radiant Hearts and Soaring Spirits" combined martial arts, modern dance, and folklore elements to create a pleasing sports art.
